Airfryer Steak – Easy, Healthy and Delicious

Today, I used the airfryer to make this delicious ribeye steak and it’s super easy!

The airfryer we have is the Philips Starfish Techonology Airfryer. We have this airfryer for a year or so now and it’s easy for us to prepare some healthy, simple and delicious food.

What you need (serves: 2):

  1. steak: we have a ribeye steak, 10 oz.
  2. olive oil
  3. ginger powder
  4. black pepper
  5. salt
  6. onion, half
  7. oyster sauce (optional): I always add this sauce to marinate the steak. It’s the Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Sauce. We use it for other dishes as well.

How to make it:

  1. Get a large square of foil (will be used later in the airfryer to keep it clean), and use kitchen towler to pat the steak to dry on the foil, then physically tenderize it and make it thinner (I just beat it with my fist with gloves on)
  2. Lightly coat steak with olive oil on both side, season with ginger powder, black pepper, salt and oyster sauce (optional), and set aside for about 15 minutes
  3. Preheat the airfryer at 360 °F for 5 minutes, at the same time, slice a half onion
  4. Put the steak in the airfyer (with foil at the bottom) and add the sliced onion on the top. Air fry for about 15 minutes, checking and flipping the steak around 6 minutes and again around 12 minutes (the cooking time may vary depending on the temperature and thickness of the steak, as well as your preference)
  5. Serve immediately (best to use a warm plate, 3 minutes in microwave oven). Add salt and pepper if needed
