Therese is a huge fan of playing with a blanket, no matter how small or how big it is.

Here, I’d like to share some ways to play with a blanket:
- Peek-a-boo: Therese started playing peek-a-boo when she’s about 7 months. She would grab a blanket or a piece of cloth around her to cover her face. We would say “Where is Therese?” and then remove the blanket/cloth. She would alway laugh. I also use a blanket to cover my head and say “Where is mommy?” Therese’s usually excited and would try to pull the blanket off my head. This game helps baby understand that someone disappears still exist.
- Ride on blanket: Mark would put Therese on top of the blanket and pull the blanket gently on the playmat, which helps her to keep balance while sitting up.
- Use blanket to get things closer: Put toys or teethers on the blanket and let baby to pull the blanket closer to get the stuff.
