Hello! I’m Christine, the joyful Christine!
I am a Catholic, and I love my faith! I’m excited to share how faith impact my daily life.
I was born in Wenzhou, my sweet hometown, and grew up in Shanghai, China.
I graduated from Shanghai University with a bachelor in Management (Information System and Management), as well as another bachelor in Business from University of Sydney, Technology. During my undergraduate study, I was able to live and study in Austria for half a year as an exchange student and travelled all over the Europe. This experience impacted me a lot. After my graduation, I worked for ICBC for a year.
I came to D.C. in 2014 and completed my master’s degree at Catholic University of America in 2017. I worked for the University as an Institutional Research Analyst for four years.
I’m married to my best friend, Mark, in 2018. We have two lovely sweet girls, Therese (born in 2019), Anastasia (born in 2020), an angel baby Jude in heaven (miscarriaged in 2021) and a cute boy Charlie (born in 2022). I live with my family in Virginia now.
I strive to celebrate wifehood and motherhood. My blog is called “Joyful Christine” because I want my posts to make my readers feel joyful as I feel everyday.

我是一名天主教徒，我热爱我的信仰。我很开心能够借助这个平台分享我的信仰如何影响我的日常生活。
我在温州出生，上海长大。
我从上海大学本科（信息系统和信息管理）毕业，并获得悉尼科技大学学士学位。在本科期间，有幸能作为交换生在奥地利居住和学习半年。期间也在欧洲各国旅游。这段经历对我影响很大。本科毕业后，我在中国工商银行工作了一年。
2014年的时候来到美国华盛顿特区，在美国天主教大学攻读研究生学位，并在2017年完成学业。同时，我在美国天主教大学做了长达四年的学院研究工作。
我在2018年和Mark结婚了，他是我最好的朋友！在第二年，我们迎来了我们的第一个宝贝Therese。在2020年底，我们的第二个宝贝Anastasia出生了。在2021年，我们的第三个宝贝胎儿baby Jude于8周离开我们，去天堂了。因着天主的恩赐，很快我们有了一个新的宝贝Charlie，他在2022年出生。目前，我和家人住在弗吉尼亚（大华府区域）。
我享受我作为妻子和妈妈的生活。我们博客网页名叫“Joyful Christine” （喜乐的Christine），因为我想要我的博客读者也能感受我每天的喜乐。
